Top 20 Storytellers of the Year 2025
Family Story Awards are some of the hardest accolades to earn with us. To win one, a photographer must create a cohesive narrative of 15 – 20 images from a single family, showing creativity, emotional depth, consistency and timing throughout. Only a small fraction of submissions make the cut — so winning multiple Stories in one year, as every photographer here has done, is truly remarkable.
Special recognition goes to Els Korsten, who has earned the title of our Storyteller of the Year — as well as our Overall Photographer of the Year. To achieve both titles in the same year is an exceptional accomplishment and a testament to her consistency, storytelling and creative vision. You can see one of her Stories above.
