I have always been interested in other places, other cultures and other people. I studied Cultural Anthropology. Followed by a master in Documentary Filmmaking, so that I can tell peoples stories in a visual way. So the step from documentary filmmaking to family photography and videography is not that big.
I have used my camera for the past 10 years to tell stories of women who have been trafficked, homelessness, the relational impact of illness and many other stories. However now having my own child I know I want to tell family stories.
I like telling real stories, to capture a slice of life and show the beauty of the natural everyday.
