Hi, I am Gretchen. I live in the rural community of Pinedale, Wyoming, USA. I am a life-long photographer, a vegetarian-turned-hunter, and a lover of all things that make us humans complicated and unique. I love being a teller of the stories we’re not accustomed to seeing, the stories that speak to our beautifully imperfect lives.
I have photographed family adventures in Yellowstone National park, families hanging at home, family reunions, families fishing, weddings, births, newborns, baptisms, sports, teachers teaching, high school graduation, working artists, working dogs….all with a commitment to an authentic and respectful documentary approach.
My work has been featured in local exhibits, as well as the international group exhibit, Transforming Perspectives. I live with my husband, two wild girls, one geriatric dog, 9 chickens and a baby bearded dragon. I am available for home and adventure sessions, or vacation sessions in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks; and I hope to be available for worldwide travel once that becomes a possibility again.
