I'm Daniel Ellis, a documentary wedding and family photographer with a deep passion for capturing authentic and meaningful moments that tell genuine stories wherever they unfold.

It’s cliched but my love for documentary family photography started when my wife and I were expecting our first child and I discovered the power of candid images in portraying compelling narratives. I love the raw beauty found in everyday moments - the imperfections, the laughter, the tears, and the unscripted interactions that make each family unique. My goal is to document the genuine connections and emotions that naturally unfold, resulting in photographs that resonate deeply and become reminders of cherished memories. For me, the true magic of photography lies in the unposed, unfiltered moments that reflect the authentic spirit of your family.

Since the birth of our second son, I have been documenting the growing relationship between our two boys by taking one image a day of the two of them together.
