About Niamh

My Story


Hi there! My name is Niamh. I am a documentary family photographer from Co. Meath, Ireland. I live in the beautiful Boyne valley with my husband, our three beautiful children and our pet dog Millie and cat Pepsi. Life is pretty hectic here but I wouldn't have it any other way. Photography has been my creative escape for as long as I can remember. From the days of film when I was in school I would go to the dark room to develop and print my roll of black and white film. I was always excited to see the results and I still to this day feel the same excitement when i upload my digital pictures to my computer to edit them. Since becoming a mum photography is even more important to me as I want to capture our ordinary everyday life because as we know family life is far from ordinary!
