About Jill

A former photojournalist, I bring a documentary approach to my family photography. I deeply believe that the small, extraordinarily ordinary moments that make up your daily life are the most precious. I’m a mom, too, and the images I make of my boys doing things like coloring, playing cars, riding bikes and getting hugs when they’re sad are THE MOST important images I can make. Someday, my boys will be grown, and what I’m going to want to remember most are the little things we did every day, as a family. I believe, with all my heart, that families are at their best when they are able to be their true, authentic selves.
