About Jeff

During training to become an emergency physician, I was awestruck with how one of our surgeons took the most amazing photos of his kids--images that used light and composition to transcend the typical snapshot.

When we found out we were having our first child, I made it my mission to do the same. My main goal initially was learn lighting but I was finding that the best photos of our kids were those that were unposed and natural. This changed my worldview by opening my eyes to documentary photography.
