About Sylvia

Hi, I'm Sylvia, documentary photographer of families based in northern Germany.

When I started my carer 20 years ago as an apprentice in a portrait studio I always felt that something was missing. And this was more than just authenticity, it was the special moment when the picture begins to tell story. The essential ingredient that makes a picture live and breathe for me.


This pinch of magic I found and search out in documentary. I just love it, when I can feel the relationship between the persons in the picture and revive the atmosphere of the scene.


The reward are pictures that last and my mission is to see and find them for my customers.
