About Charlotte

Photography has always been in my life, as family documenter, then studying Fine Art, through to taking digital images of my first-born on automatic DSLR. By the time child three came along, I decided to up my game; study a professional course and get off auto. 11 years later, I have an established business (8 years) in personal branding, studio portraiture but also family and family documentary.

Before becoming a pro photographer, I was a journalist, keen to tell stories through the written word. But I realised my two passions didn't need to be exclusive and family documentary photography was just another way to tell a story.

Having spent my children's early years documenting family life and treasuring these images above all else, I want to be able to give that gift to other families. Combining my Fine Art background and my storytelling career, I try to offer authentic, arresting and thoughtful images that help others hold on to these precious fleeting years.

I am an Accredited Portrait Master, having gained more than 50 Bronzes in the Portrait Masters Awards; and I have one Bronze with Distinction. I am also a London School of Photography monthly competition winner.
